Head north on Blanshard St / Pay Bay Hwy approximately 30km to BC Ferry Terminal 2. Take Swartz Bay to Fulford Harbour Ferry – approximately 35-minute ferry trip 3. Continue straight onto Fulford Ganges Road, follow signs to Ganges 4. Continue on Fulford Ganges Road through town 5. Turn Left onto Rainbow Road, there are sandwich boards on the corner 6. Turn Right immediately before the school building, you will see painted fish on the chain link fence 7. Follow this lane up to the top of the hill, follow the loop around the parking area for the school 8. Follow signs to BC Ferries – Tsawwassen/ BC-99 2. Take the Long Harbour, BC – Tsawwassen, BC Ferry – ranging from 90 minutes to a 3-hour ferry trip 3. Once off the ferry, continue onto Long Harbour Road 4. Turn left onto Upper Ganges Road 5. Turn left onto Lower Ganges Road 6. Turn Right onto Rainbow Road, there are sandwich boards on the corner 7. Reservations (1-888-223-3779) on the Tsawwassen direct to Long Harbour route are free of charge. A nominal fee is charged for reservations on the Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay route. **From Victoria** - Swartz Bay near Victoria to Fulford Harbour on Salt Spring Reservations are not available on the Swartz Bay to Fulford Harbour ferry. Victoria International Airport is a 10-minute drive from the Swartz Bay terminal. **From Mid-Vancouver Island** - Crofton (south of Nanaimo) to Vesuvius on Salt Spring Reservations are not available on the Crofton-Vesuvius routes. This route can also be used when coming from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo or when going on to the Tofino area.
